Jennifer
Jennifer has been with A Plus Animal Hospital since May of 1997. She began working part-time while attending college and now has a degree in International Business from UNR. She is pictured with her pup, a Golden Retriever named Jake, but also has two kitties at home. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. |

Laura C.
Laura has a Bachelor’s of Science from UNR in Biology. She has been working as a Tech in Training for A Plus since June of 2006. When not working full-time for the animal hospital, she also volunteers her time on weekends at Sierra Safari Zoo working with all of the wildlife. She is pictured with her fish, but also has two Min Pins at home, Lupe and Missy, and a kitty, Buster. |

Laura L.
Laura is originally from Nevada but has also lived and gone to school in Oregon. She began as a Receptionist in April of 2006 but soon after transferred to the veterinary assisting area of our hospital. She has taken courses in animal husbandry and is currently enrolled in TMCC’s Veterinary Technician Program. She is set to graduate in June of 2008. Pictured with her is her Black Lab, Gauge. |

Jessica
Jessica began as a pet care attendant but had shown such an avid interest and aptitude for veterinary assisting that she soon transferred. She is currently enrolled in TMCC’s Veterinary Technician Program and will be graduating in June of 2008. She is pictured with one of her two Staffordshire Terriers, Sampson, and also enjoys her three kitties at home. |

Martina
Martina began working for A Plus in 2007. She has a Bachelor’s degree from UC Davis in Animal Science and Management and intends on achieving her License as a Nevada Veterinary Technician. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son, James and her two pets shown here, Dre and Scooby Doo. |

Melanie
Melanie came to us from Oregon where she had previous experience as a veterinary assistant. She has proven herself time and again as a hardworking person as well as caring and attentive to all of our patients. When not working, she spends time with her husband and two sons. Pictured with her is her kitty, Little Man. |

Jamie
Jamie is originally from Maryland but moved to Reno, Nevada in 2004 become the Lead Receptionist for the front desk. She is pictured with her beautiful Basset Hound, Ruby. Jamie has taken some courses at TMCC and intends on furthering her education and enrolling in the Veterinary Technician program. |

Jalisa
Jalisa is one of our Reno natives. She has become a wonderful addition to our front office staff and enjoys working with our clientele. She is pictured with her puppy, a Greyhound mix named, Digger. In the summer, she enjoys camping and being outdoors and in the winter, she is an avid snowboarder.

Damaris
Damaris had been with A Plus since October of 2004. While she began as a pet care attendant , she has also been very important to our front office staff as a receptionist. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently enrolled in courses through TMCC towards a business degree. |

Kristen
Kristen is from Smith Valley, and moved to Reno in August, 2007. She began working for A Plus and the front office staff in September of 2007. She has taken some courses in Criminal Justice at UNR but has recently decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Technician. She intends to enroll in the program in the Fall of 2008. She is pictured with her Miniature Pinscher, Bella. |

Angela
Angela is also a native of Reno, Nevada. She began working with our front office team in October of 2007 and she is loving it. Though she comes from the human side of healthcare and record keeping, she has decided that animals may be more her speed. At home, she has a Golden Retriever and a cute Kitty, Barkley. |

Sean
Sean intends to become of Veterinarian. He is currently attending UNR in their Pre-Vet program and will be immediately attending vet school upon completion of his Bachelor’s degree. He is originally from Bishop, California and has been happily married for 11 years. At home, he has two dogs, one of whom he is pictured here with, Clairie. |

Jenny
Jenny began working as a kennel attendant in June of 2007. She intends on achieving her license for Veterinary Technician and is currently taking online courses. As her education increased, so did her skills and she has now transferred to the veterinary assisting part of the practice. |

Ana
Ana has been with us since December of 2004. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and loves to work with the animals as well as working with her daughter, Damaris, one of our front office Receptionists. . She is pictured here with one of her favorite boarders |

Joan
Joan came to us from Washington, where she was involved in nursing and assisted living. She came to us in September of 2006 after deciding she was interested in expanding her healthcare caretaking skills to the furry ones. She is pictured with one of her kitties, Leo. |

Grooming Personnel |

Tammy
Tammy has been working for A Plus Animal Hospital since August of 2004 but has been a professional groomer since 1986. She works with all breeds of canines and claims that every type is fun to groom. She has been known to groom a few kitties too but is not currently accepting new feline clients. |

Dawn
Dawn joined our team in August of 2003. She found her new passion for grooming animals in 2002 and will groom both dogs and cats. Her favorite breeds are the hairy ones! The more hair they have, the better she can make them look. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. |
