surgery

Our practice provides a variety of surgical procedures. The doctors are thoroughly skilled and knowledgeable in performing various surgeries, using modern surgical equipment, while following guidelines for asepsis and antisepsis techniques.

Our surgeries include routine surgeries like ovariohysterectomies (spays) and castrations (neuters), onychectomies (declaws), tumor removals (although, sometimes it seems like a routine surgery, we make sure to meet your pet’s needs and special requirements) and also more specific surgeries (orthopedics and soft tissue surgeries).

Also, not all conditions and diseases can be treated with medications and TLC. After your pet has been diagnosed with a certain illness or a condition, our doctors may recommend surgical treatment for your pet.

All surgical procedures require your pet to be sedated or anesthetized, depending on your pet’s health status and the extent of the surgical treatment or procedure. Anesthesia is not a risk-free procedure, so if you have any questions, please refer to our Anesthesia and Anesthetic Procedures part of our website.

For specific surgeries please contact our office and speak to one of our trained staff members or a doctor. For all surgeries, we prefer to provide you with an estimate of all the cost for the procedure. At that time, our staff will answer any of your questions.
